I highly recommend you get this achievement now if you own the game since it's unlikely you'll get another opportunity soon (if ever). Free weekends haven't happened for 4 years, until now with the "Steam Spring Cleaning" event you can finally unlock it in the next 2 days. This is the first time since 4 year that you can get this achievement, it requires you to finish a campaign with a free weekend player (who has to survive the campaign).
Be aware that it is fairly difficult to find free weekend players.
As far as I know it's the only Left 4 Dead 2 free weekend event and so the only time you can get this achievement legitimately. Seems like the Left 4 Dead 2 free weekend is back again for the "Steam Spring Cleaning" event, which may be an annual event now, making the achievement more accessible.
